When I first began yoga over 20 years ago, my goal was simple: reduce stress and become more flexible. But yoga became something far more profound—it became a journey of healing and self-discovery. After a near-death experience, I found yoga to be a powerful tool for restoring vitality and unlocking new levels of energy and clarity. Today, I am healthier, more fulfilled, and deeply honored to share this gift with others.
A Distinctive Fusion of Scientific Understanding and Yogic Insight With a degree in food- and biotechnology and extensive yoga training, I offer an integrated approach to healing. As the founder of the Waldzell Institute and the Yoga Veda Academy, I’ve helped hundreds of students transform their lives. With a degree in food- and biotechnology, I began my career in politics. However, after a life-changing near-death experience, I turned to yoga to understand the mind-body connection and help others unlock their potential. I co-founded the Waldzell Meetings , which brought together visionary leaders like HH the Dalai Lama, Paulo Coelho, Isabel Allende, Frank Gehry, Peter Senge, Craig Venter, Cristo and Jeanne-Claude, Mihály Csikszentmihályi, Bruce Lipton, David Steindl-Rast, Rupert Sheldrake, Anton Zeilinger, Wolf Singer and numerous Nobel laureates to discuss global challenges and solutions. Through the Architects of the Future initiative, I’ve supported young social entrepreneurs worldwide. My mission is to inspire others to break through their self-imposed limitations and step into a life of true fulfilment, health, and purpose.
